Our pre tier 4 machines have, and are reliable and available to meet our needs economically
I read somewhere that even the lesser machines will have the DPF junk soo, and even lawn equipment. I just bought a new Echo chasinsaw and it has a cat in the muffler, which I'm gonna remove. I'll leave the USDA spark arrestor however.

Good to read of others experiences with the regen. Now that I have experienced it and have read all your comments I now know what to expect.

Of course they will.

The federales are relentless. No matter what they impose it will NEVER be enough.

I have used a B3350 that has been deleted and it has the most particulate at startup - more than any pre emission tractor I have ever saw. It would give a little puff if you whack the throttle from idle with an accessory running or under full load that is dropping rpm but very little even then. I really wonder if most issues are from start/stop scenarios? Don't know about the 3310 but the 3350 only seems to have one pressure sensor in the dpf, always wondered if the hose from the dpf to the pressure sensor was unhooked if it would set a code or not?

Of coarse! This, and raising the price of fuel to ridiculous levels is how they are going to get you to follow their electric agenda, LOL

I am not getting any black smoke or puff but my tractor is new.

Not sure where people get this thinking as fuel prices are mostly dictated by commodity prices, e.g. oil. Having been a trader in past life on commodities, oil and gold were two that I stayed away from my clients. Instead I would help them invest in shares of companies that participate in related industries as they were a bit less volatile. I just wish people would educate themselves on fuel prices and other things than stating opinions that are incorrect.

I was making a general smart ass comment. But you are correct. I AM an uneducated high school drop-out.
Yet I somehow managed to make a living.(y)

Of course fuel prices are mostly dictated by commodity prices. But when the President goes on national TV and states that he will do all he can to curtail production and use of oil that certainly affects commodity prices. Would you as a stockholder invest in new refineries and new drilling knowing that the Federal government is actively discouraging them? The way to raise the price of any commodity is to restrict the supply.

Sorry no it does not. There is a lot of demand for crude and will continue to be for decades. Take a look at just US production in the chart attached, do you see any downward trend in the graph? No there is not. Yes the future, likely 2035-2050 you will see an impact but not in the short-term so the best advice is, don’t listen to what politicians say or those trying to be a politician. Look at facts and determine on your own what is truly happening.

Very happy with the LX overall, a bit more whine to it but otherwise very very happy to be orange again.
I was going to ask you how you like the LX. I've been thinking about selling my 3301 and getting an older Ford 3000 or 4000 series, then buying something smaller with a cab and blower like you have yours.

I used to hate the whine but don't seem to notice it as much now. I don't know if I run the tractor differently, if it diminishes as they get broken in or I've just gotten used to it. For a while I called my tractor "Cheese"... :D
