MX5100 Pricing- Recent buyers?

Hey guys
I'm looking at a new MX5100 HST 4x4 with FEL, R1 tires. A nearby salesman gave me a price of $27150 out the door which includes farm tax of 1.5%, loaded tires, and full tank of fuel. I will be financing the tractor as well as Kubota insurance which he quoted me at $1550 for 5 years. I will be paying cash for a 6ft clipper, 6ft Disk, and a trailer. So, do you fellas think this is an OK deal?

Also, all pros and cons related to the HST are welcomed.

I say get the hst I own a gear tractor when doing loader work your leg gets tired really fast I think the price is a little steep last year was looking at one 22.5k

i got a a trade in value of about $18,500 on my mx5100 hst 4x4 fel with R4 tires about 7wks ago.just the hst 4x4 tractor w/o loader is $25000 now.

The salesman is stuck on $26,800 for the HST out the door. That price includes tax and loaded tires. What do you think?

Well, you're about 9% under MSRP using the Kubota website. That's probably an OK deal but not a great deal. Most of those who discuss their deals here say a great deal is closer to 15% off, but you don't get the best price if you're financing through the dealer. Wouldn't hurt to get a couple of other quotes.

Unless you plan lots of tillage work with your tractor, get the HST. I have the same transmission on my large tractor and it's dead reliable and easy to use, now at 12 years and 1,000+ hours.

you got a good deal an price on the mx5100 your looking at.i would go ahead an make the deal as they dont drop the mx5100 hst price much.

Where are you located? I'm Texas you can get a tax exempt number if using it for timber production or agriculture.

Also check to see if you have the HD or reg. bucket on the loader (with quick detach) as that adds a few $ to the overall price.

That's within $100 of what I paid last year after shopping several Dealers in my area, so in my opinion, this is a pretty good deal. Good luck with your decision. If you buy it, you'll love the tractor!
