How wide is the 4710. I have a 6x12 trailer with sides and wondered if it would fit. Thanks

Is that a safety clamp for the FEL below the grill guard? Can it be released from the drivers seat?

If it is like the one on the 4100, yes it just below the grill guard and is clamped down by a pin. You must leave the seat to move the safety latch.

Overall width depends on tire type and how wide you have them set.
Minimum width w/ R1 62 in
Maximum width w/ R1 91.1 in
Minimum width w/ R3 71.5 in
Maximum width w/ R3 74.4 in
Minimum width w/ R4 71.5 in

I think there's also another ag tire with a different profile available now discussed by John Miller in another thread. These are the 4700 specs but I believe that they are the same for the the 4710. There'll be a slight variation with tire pressure and attachment load on the 3PH. R1s you could fit with a couple of wheel setups. Pretty tight for the R3s and R4s in their narrowest configurations.

Cliff, I don't know if that's what Bird meant, but now you do have a an extra step to get onto the operator's platform. Those are two very, very impressive machines. The hardest job may be trying to decide which one to use. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif
