Here's a question about turning with brakes: A buddy of mine came over last night to help me work on my shed. I showed him my new ride of course and he asked me how you can use the hst peddle and turn share with the brakes. He has a JD4310 and I guess deeres have brakes on the left? I have the cruise lever so maybe I could use that to push the hst forward and use my foot on the right/left brake? I'm traveling today so I can't try it. Just thought I'd ask. Not even sure how important this is.
Turning with brakes, brake location etc., has been a hotly discussed topic on here. My L5030 turns so sharp, I really don't need them, but have used them because other tractor owners say it can't be done. I grew up farming and used them, so I am familiar with the concept.
