Guys,
My wife will not let me on the computer at the house, so I have to surf during work hours when I can on TBN. I am like a bunch of you guys, my wife does a lot of real work on the computer at home, but also plays BeJeweled or something like that. When I get on the computer at home she said you must be talking with your tractor Buddies....and I say yep.

The foam I had put in my BX22 was Arnco SuperFlex Softfill. I was shown the difference between another foam and the Arnco. The Arnco was noticeably more flexible. I didn't notice much difference in the tractor's ride between filled and unfilled.

The disavantages are, the initial cost and it's a one way street once the foam is in as you can't take it out.

I have a lot of locust trees around so it was a no brainer for me.

You guys are funny,
I had been looking at tractors for years and maintaining a Farmall Cub and a Cub Cadet garden tractor which were both in intesive care units once a month.

Something was always breaking. One day working in the back yard my wife said "Just get rid of all this old SH$T!" Buy one new machine that does everything and will start everytime you need it.

One month later the dealer rolled up with a new Kubota 2910 with all the trimmings....

She almost fainted when I told her what it cost, but a big smile czme over her face when they loaded all the old stuff on the trailer and took it away....

The best thing about a new tractor is it always starts.... the best thing about an old tractor, is it has very little value, so you either don't mind getting rid of it, or you decide to keep it around for posterity. Since you live in Woodstock, you will have to join us, the TBN Northeastern CT branch, for lunch one day soon. We consist of 3 grumpy old retired men with lots of ideas..... 2 from Woodstock, 1 from Union... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Been in your fine town one time that I remember to meet John and his fine family. I was passing thru from one ag customer to another and as many times as he'd been in to see me I thought I would stop by. We do get into that area and John has asked me many times to open a store there. Used to cover much of that area years ago in the late 50's and 60's as Dad was the distributer for Nicholson hay tedders which put us all over the northeast. I was always a motor head since birth and couldn't resist a weekend ride in the roll back.

Take Interstate 95 North till it intersects with I-91 North to I-84 East and exit onto Rt 20 East in Sturbridge MA........Look for the teal station wagon in the parking lot next to the truck stop and you will know that you are in the correct place..... There are lots of Kubota's lurking in Woodstock...
Much to Tim at Ahearn's liking.... Good guy and good dealer.

There are 3 Kubota's within 1/2 a mile of my house.
I have the B2910, One neighbor has a tricked out BX2200 and another has an older B6200.

Lunch sounds fun but us younger guys still have to work during the days.... maybe a Friday some time would be good.
