- various General Electric Elec-Trak electric garden tractors from the '70s
Hi everyone,
Dean Stuckmann here in NE Wisconsin. My tractor lineup is a bit unconventional. They are various General Electric "Elec-Trak" garden tractors mostly from the early 1970s. They are all powered using 6V electric golf cart batteries as a 36V system. They will mow about 2 acres on a single charge or about 45 minutes on high draw attachments like the snowblower or tiller. I have been using them since 1980. Great machines.
Also have my grandfathers old 3.5 HP Lauson powering another one of the tractors. I take many of them to old tractor shows and thresherees.
I found this site when I was looking at fixing/updating the hydraulic controls for my loader, which is mounted to one of my tractors. Looks like a good group of people here.
Take care,
Dean
