RickB said:(from memory only, it's been a full year now.......) I believe the shuttle and PTO switches are part of the NSS curcuit. P-brake and seat switch are tied together with ignition so as to require brake on w/ key off, etc. but is not part of the NSS circuit per se. PowerShuttle tractors also have a NSS on the clutch pedal, as well as shuttle lever.
With the increased use of electronics in engine and fuel management systems, I would think that protecting these systems from the elements would be a priority. Don't blame the manufacturers, blame the EPA.gsxrsquid said:you are right BobRip. A sad commentary when agricultural equipment has to be protected from the elements to keep it from disintergrating
gsxrsquid said:The EPA might require a control but CNH designed built and assembled it. the EPA didn't make them use cheap crap for the dash panel and didn't make them use crappy switches and fuses and wiring slightly thicker than 30# test fishing line.
All of the connectors under the hood of my Tundra have dielctric grease in them and the tractor should have as well, but hey, they saved 2 cents.
Tomorrow I am pulling the rear wheel to check wiring.![]()
