WACKEY,
No need to apologize for making a living using the talents bestowed upon you. Live within and abide by the laws of nature and society, render un to Caesar that which is due and offer your faith in a power far greater than exists on this earth. To all other the message is quite simple: "Get Off My Lawn"!

I wasn't trying to talk over your head, should I refer to them as clients? Customers?

Perhaps "yuppie scum" I have to belittle myself by working for?

These are primarily very nice folks. I try to find the good in everyone but as someone said earlier, people on the Internet can be a bit antisocial.

No worries, my post doesn't even make sense as I read it sober lol  I work with lots of yuppies!

Looks like just another rich guy doing yuppie rich guy stuff, to me...

I'm just not interested in those kinds of channels...

SR

Out of 13 pages of comments this one made me laugh the most lol. Was it the videos on "How to choose the right country club for you?" or maybe the series on my vacation homes? Wait I know, I know had to be the one video I went to the winery before I bought my yacht! lol. Had to be one of those because I'm sure it wasn't the videos on how to sharpen chainsaws, cutting firewood, running skid loaders, tractors, excavators, more firewood, deer hunting, food plots, more firewood, string trimmers, building trails, mower reviews, more firewood, box scraper tutorials, and more firewood.

But seriously, I don't care if someones, rich, poor, or in-between. There are thousands and thousands of people that watch my videos and we all share the same interests, some are new and wanting to learn, some are experienced and have great info to share in the comments, thats pretty much it in a nut shell!

Many of those that comment on here are grumpy old, unhappy men....and some are just like gossipy little girls!

But most are knowledgeable, thoughtful people with experience to share!

What income level is "Yuppie Rich", what income level is flat out "Rich", and what income level is "redneck rich"?

I truly am unaware, but I have aspirations of at least one day being in one of those general categories. Heck, I might be in one now and I'm just too ignorant to realize it.

Redneck Rich is what i'm shooting for, that sounds awesome

Totally, that's what I'm really aspiring to be.

Let all behold.... King rich redneck has entered the drunken forest! All hail the drunken rich redneck King of Corona!

I realized long ago that rich/wealthy or otherwise is all a comparison to the individual making that judgement.

If you make $50k and I make $150k a year, I'm rich to you.

If you make $300k a year and I make $100k a year you likely see me as poor.

You can mix up the numbers any way you like, but it still will generally hold true. I don't know if I'm rich, I don't know if Mike is rich, but I'm glad that many of us in America find a way to make a comfortable and rewarding income that allows us to support our families and still blow thousands upon thousands of dollars on tractors and other non essential equipment.

Trust me, you can survive without your man toys, but it sure would make life more difficult.

SawyerRob can be gruff but for me and many others he is among the best/most informative posters on here. Tractors , chainsaws and saw mill are tools needed to make a living for him, not toys.

I personnaly enjoy Mike's videos but they are not geared toward folks like SR but more to weekend warriors. If SR ever starts a utube channel I will be the 1st to join.

Yeah, I was cornfused for sure. Better to drunk post as opposed to drunk text. A friend told me that

LOL Many of my clients are wealthy yuppie types and I assure you, they don't firewood, hunt, nor run a bush hog.
The ones I see around here don't either, BUT they THINK that's what they are doing!! Everything, is about impressing other people, pretty funny actually... lol

They aren't hard to spot...

Sawyer Rob what kind of mill do you have? What are your thoughts on LT15?

Yuuppie - Young urban professional. I think we all agree MFrompa is not the first two parts of that. It doesn't necessaryily mean rich though! If it did I think I would nominate Old Red as a Yuppie as he seems to have hit the lotto all the toys he is buying

Not drinking : )

Mike, I like your videos. I love honest reviews. I did start watching because I recently got a Kubota, and wanted to learn more about how others are using theirs.... Kubota or RK... it’s still a tractor being used and I can learn something I am sure!!

If you look back at your YouTube comments ( or maybe Facebook on the page) I called you getting a sponsorship when you did video and first mentioned big news coming. It ended up being the new land purchase... but I was expecting a sponsorship. Anyone that faults you for taking that opportunity would be telling a story if they say they wouldn’t take the opportunity also!

While I hate it wasn’t a Kubota sponsorship, I am still happy to watch and see what I can learn!

First off I can't fault anyone who wants to do Utube. I'm a user but don't do videos. Am 72 years old and have done a lot of the stuff listed on these videos but grew up on a small farm improvising and doing all kinds of repairs/projects some safe and a lot very hazardous. We're now two generations out with folks that are always getting butt hurt. I like Morgan's utubes and can't fault him on getting some help from some sponsors. I was totally surprised that Rural King is even selling a tractor as good as he shows as my neighbor bought one a few years ago and front wheel fell off. Looks like they've gotten into a serious market but I'm still looking for their mechanics around the store. Don't see any parts or mechanics. I still think you're going to be screwed by buying one but not the implements. Looks like if they were at the top of the game they would make the implements also compatible to Deere. I run Deere's and have found that they have the safest and simplistic attachment hookups. If Morgan was simply wanting to clean up his place...about 30 head of cattle would accomplish this but he's in the firewood business. However for hour to hour use age Ill stick with my Deeres. The purchase price of equipment is not the only cost of owning an item. I've always found that too many features on tractors is a biggggggg mistake as this stuff messing up with time. But anyway if I can pick up some information from utubes It's good....just hope they don't edit out the mistakes as this is the most important part of the learning curve....

Lots to unpack,
Identify the store that lacked tractor service and parts availability? OK? The incident w/ the tractor wheel lacks CREDIBILITY w/o circumstances, make and model of tractor, approximate date of incident. Deere large AG tractors are fine however the E series display QC issues. The homeowner/hobby farmer models are overpriced and under equipped. Many are deere in paint scheme only.
A true "farmer" might know that cattle do NOT clear brush, build trails/refurbish driveways, or improve landscape surfaces.
Mike Morgan is NOT in the firewood business. He is former heavy highway tradesman, now employed in oil/gas industry. Firewood collection benefits his family, relatives, close friends.
It does sound as though you watched only intermittent segments of Mike's videos, as information you report is wholly inaccurate. Mike has demonstrated integrity, he has yet to edit any content to conceal accurate reviews. If you feel otherwise, he would be the first to advise you cease watching.
The deere implements referenced are not described? Again many implements for residential/light commercial use are 3rd party vendor items, many marketed through the frontier division. These vendors manufacturer implements under their own name and various others. NOT aware of any unique connection features associated w/ deere tractors/labeled implements.?

Perhaps you refer to the QA coupler on the small tractor loaders that PENALIZE owners by requiring them to only attach implements w/ this proprietary coupling arrangement? This action denies deere owners the ability to use universal SSQA attachments.

The post (yours) criticizes advancements in tractor feature comforts, technology, convenience. Many tractor owners desire these features, thus the increased popularity. It is certainly your choice to continue living in the deere 2 cylinder era and driving a model A ford.
