Beautiful building! My father and I are drawing plans right now for a building similar to yours (perhaps a tad smaller 26x48 plus a leanto). We have been checking out your pictures for ideas. One request: Could you get a shot of where the rafters for the lean to attach to the main building.

It appears as though your builders are moving quickly, congrats! We hope to finalize the plans and submit them for a permit within a month. Enjoy your building, and many thanks for the pictures!!!

That's a great looking barn. The oldest barn on my farm has been demoliished and the other one needs it. Boy you sure have given me some inspiration. That building is gonna really add value to your place. You live in a beautiful area.

The concrete is really gonna be nice. How many yards did it take?

I'm with the others, please keep posting and updating with pictures all the way until you have it full of your stuff. Your layout is very unique and I want to see how it all fits together.

Thanks for all the kind remarks! It took about 36 yards of concrete. They are currently finishing all the outside walls. I will be putting a couple coats of sealer on the concrete today. I am going to stud out the inside walls on the enclosed portion of the building for future insulation. There will be white corrugated metal on the ceiling and on the side walls down to the bottom of the knee braces.

bones1, the sill plate does go all the way around and provided a great point of reference while pouring the concrete. The floor is incredibly level.
