Jeremy, have you maxed out the fel with that grapple yet? I'm thinking of a similar configuration and I'm wondering how much extra ballast I need in the rear.

Thanks to this thread and JLinders comments I just pulled the trigger on a DK5010HS with all the options mentioned plus a canopy and minus the lights. Kioti extended last years incentives and added in free quick link arms and rear remotes. Whole package 24k. The 5510 is not included and would be $1600 more.

I have loaded R4's and it's not enough by itself. With my flail on the back it's perfect which weighs 650lbs but the center of gravity is farther out than a ballast box would be. I plan to build a rack to use suitcase weights which would give me some adjustment but I'd guess 800ish pounds with the loaded tires would be about right.

Gentleman, Kioti has upped the rebates on the DK5010 only for January. Same applies to the NX5010 ROPS model. (50 hp models only, the other DK and NX models do not apply). Plus Kioti extended the 6 year powertrain warranty promo.
If you're able I suggest you pull the trigger this month and save yourself some $$.
