One word of advice, buy the heaviest duty blade you can afford. Scraping snow is not light duty! Unless you are just going to be scrapping up sawdust or wood chips, you better have a good welder! I went the cheap, light duty blade way for a few years and found myself constantly fixing, welding and replacing bent parts. I finally got a Land Pride Medium duty blade and with the extra weight and strength, I have no problems plowing snow, scraping roads, and just about any reasonable scraping job. Its one of those "pay a little more now or pay lots more later" things.
