screwdrivers

The Prince-Reed and the Phillips are two different tools. The P-R has 30 degree angle on its tip while the Phillips is cut at 45 degrees. As many have found out, the don't work to good if you use the wrong one. The P-R tip is typically used in smaller devices and electronics.

If you get one of these, you should be ready for almost anything.

The first step is acknowledging you have a problem.. :)

Good Afternoon Cliff,
I find bearhawks' post quite humorous, and I know this thread leans in that direction...

You wont get any lectures from me... :)

Although I do have a couple of screwdrivers that have the interchangeable tips, that could technically reduce your usable collection ! ;)

I do find myself grabbing one of the conventional screwdrivers first, cant explain that...

BTW nice collection ! :)

Screwdrivers are like rain....if you don't get some every once in a while it just isn't right!

I have some (used to be a set some 15 yrs ago) that I bought at Big Lots were green w steel al way through handle and a rounded hammer spot on back of the handle. they have a square 5/16 on average shank that fits a crescent wrench well. beat tar out of a few big ones but the tips are a bit soft used a chisel and parting tools most of the time hardly ever used a screw drivers :D
gave nephew a set of the free black handles HF versions and 9 piece wrench sets all new for his B-Day today. kid liked them...

The best screwdrivers I have are Snap On. I do like the Wiha screwdrivers too. They have good metal in the blades.

I find the chests have hundreds of philips but never any flat ones as the get taken to use as pry bars etc by everyone . I buy tons of screwdrivers/wrenches and socket sets whenever i see them cheap .

When I was in college it was my adult drink of choice. Now I can't stand the taste of OJ.

Finally. I figured I was the only one that thought this thread was about mixing drinks. First you take a little Vodka, then you take a little OJ.......
