Any word on when the TBN App is going to be fixed?

We're working on the app today. Our intention is to fix the old app and deploy the new tapatalk app within the next week or so.

I am also having difficulty uploading a picture.

not in advanced mode - Tried to upload to this thread using the icon on the second line down, I choose the file, select upload, it returns me to the window to choose a picture.

Go to advanced mode

I can't upload in either mode. It starts uploading and stops at about 25-30% then restarts and goes to about 25% uploaded then quit trying to upload. DSC_0025 (2).JPG It let's me post pictures that were previously uploaded.

Again w/ loading pictures
In old format
tried loading a pic 2988x5312, 6.2 Mb.
icon - no

resized pic to 1500x2666

resized pic to 800x1421 pic - resultsellie2015-800x1421.jpg

Before I was able to upload large pics routinely, the pic below in "attached thumbnails" is a 2560x1440 picture I uploaded before the change.

now it won't upload.

/edit - furthermore when I clicked to post this response it gave a 51? error and when I went "back" the post was there WITHOUT the thumbnail sowing.
I opened TBN in another window and saw the post had gone through with the thumbnail. I then added this edit and it saved.

Pictures are limited to 1MB (per the max size list when you use the advanced uploader) so that may be your problem (might have had a higher limit before?).
IMO, pictures that big are a waste of bandwidth unless they are of something complicated where people need to be able to zoom in and see something...

I agree they are generally a waste but probably most of us take pics at higher resolutions by default. I thought the software had automatically been downsizing the pics for a while.

Tried to "compress" image in order to post a pic thinking perhaps the pics were too large. No dice. Get this message: "Valid file extensions: bmp doc gif jpe jpeg jpg pdf png psd txt zip". My files are "jpg" but still will not upload.

What was the size of the files?

Was the file name extension .jpg? i.e. my-pic.jpg?
How was it "compressed"?

It was a jpg file. It gives a file no. and then jpg (P1064067.jpg) I simply right clicked on picture and clicked on "compress file". I am getting no other message about sizing being too large. Currently the pics appear to be 9x12 (something like 1.4mb) when clicked on screen. Can reduce pic size on screen, but cannot find a way to reduce them at desktop where I choose them to upload from.
