Once you compress it the file is no longer a .jpg file.It was a jpg file. It gives a file no. and then jpg (P1064067.jpg) I simply right clicked on picture and clicked on "compress file". I am getting no other message about sizing being too large. Currently the pics appear to be 9x12 when clicked on screen. Can reduce pic size on screen but have no way to reduce them at desktop where I choose them to upload from.
Are you running a version of Windoze or a version of Linux? And which version?
There are many ways to reduce pic file size with free or bundled software, but it depends on your platform.
