Hard to see but he must have a special hitch on the Suburban. Trailer tongue looks to be almost a foot higher than the truck receiver.
My PJ 14K tilt bed has a heavy tongue weight of just under 1200 lb. and my axles are located similar to the one pictured. The entire trailer weight estimate is 4000 lb. according to the PJ specs.

More than likely just a drop hitch or one of the adjustable hitches flipped over.

The hitch receivers on those newer Suburbans sit between the frame rails and come through the bumper. The traditional hitch on a pickup comes out under the bumper (8-10 inches below the suburban height.

Is that towing truck a red chevy? Or Dodge? HArd to tell from my angle..

My vote is the red truck is a 2wd Tacoma. The towing truck is the blue semi on the left mostly hidden by the grey Durango

I'm pretty sure this is what it is although the back fenders are a little different. We may never know for sure without a better picture. It seems we all agree it isn't the tow vehicle. image-4275825535.jpg

Pallet of concrete pavers, thought he was going to snap the tongue, tires were touching fenders.

How much do you think those pavers weigh? I guessed the math and it looks like a shocking amount for such a lightweight trailer.
I calculated an estimate of a little over two tons. Way overloaded.

Assumed 3.5 ft x 3.5 ft x 2.9 ft tall, and concrete pavers same as gravel at 3,000 lbs / cu yd.

On the other hand for three years now I've gotten away with 2600 lbs (starting weight) on a 900 lb rated HF trailer - and that after it sat unused in a field for a decade or so, rusted bearings etc - but I don't need a highway safety margin in my application.

That guy should be fine for a slow cautious trip home with no traffic. If he doesn't pop a tire.

He actually pulled over and started loading some into the back of the Jeep!

My L3200 has a rated capacity of 1,200lb & I could only pick up about 1/3rd of a pallet of pavers after pulling a couple layers off. No way that trailer has any more than a 3,500lbs axle, quite possibly less. 500-1,000lbs for the trailer + 4,000lbs or more of pavers + other junk.

I've looked at a few... some have a payload just under 3,000 lbs with 3499 gvw

I think their intention was to keep the body secure.

What is the strap by the cab attached to?

My Sister & BIL (for Eric's benefit that's Brother-In-Law (& he's from the IOM)) were moving house. Total distance about 750 yards. Had to move the VW Karmann Ghia he was restoring and the trailer was 'only just' long enough. The chains on the rear suspension were more for decoration but there was a large logging chain tight around the front torsion bars. The loading ramps have another section to be added. The brakes were not operative so we couldn't tow it.

Pretty sure it goes over the cab and is attached to the trailer. In the photo, the sun washed it out above the door handle.

Saw this today....Dodge Rampage with a huge Sun analyzer and Miller MIG welder in the back! The funny part is it had Ohio historic plates, which can't be used for general transportation. I looked up the specs, and the little Rampage had an admirable load rating of something like 1,150lbs. I'm not sure what that analyzer weighed, but with the weight of the driver, the welder, etc, it might have been close to maxed out. Still, if the argon bottle wasn't empty...yikes!

That's when you need to tie the front axle backwards and the rear axle forwards
