With all of the above posts it would make an interesting thread to tell how we all got our experience. It would be all over the map.
What is so hard to understand?Okay first I am having a hard time getting my head around SA stating here that he began welding at 14 but he has repeatedly stated he has been welding for 2 weeks or so... swear to god he looks of age.
What is so hard to understand? My wife says I act like a 14-year old all the time!
The other side is a flat panel, see the link below. The right side tips up, you can see the hinges on top. I don't really want to do straps either. I see the back side has a small lip on the base that sticks out, I could make it slide under a piece of angle iron. That's all I have so far for ideas so far.I hate straps.. Could you post a pic of the other side of the welder that the door opens on??

That's kind what I'm grappling with. I'm pretty sure I can lock the back down but don't really want to drill holes in my new machine. Maybe I could use the screw on the left side of the case and something underneath the door to Velcro it into place in the front.Too bad. Looks like the lid comes right down to the bottom. I've secured an Everlast Tig/Stick before using the bottom sheet metal screws that secure the lid to the frame.
Perhaps using the lip of 1/8" angle iron and the grooves in the plastic end caps to "capture" the unit?
Or could you bolt it to your cart from inside the wire feed compartment?
