So I got a good deal on some trusses...

Because the slab was finshed so flat and smooth, decide to do without the sill sealer in favor of dual beads of construction adhesive under the PT sill plate. Galvanized wall anchors were required by code, and we ended up using some made by RedHead every 6' and at wall section ends.

Once the walls were up, spaced and braced, we started setting the trusses upside down on the side wall top plates. The trusses are awkward to move, but not that heavy. Two guys could get them off the trailer and into position.

Made a push pole and walked the truss tops right straight up. One guy fitting into position using a pre-cut spacer, tacking the ends and then nailing to the braces.

If you look close, you can see we used rafter ties on every other truss.

Decided to use 'clipped' corners on the main and side overhead doors for a little visual interest, even though the house garage does not.

Here's a shot that shows both overhead door exterior trim. I only put one window on this side, as there ultimately will be a shed roof extending over a gravel parking spot along this side.
