My 96 saturn ob2 and wifes 95 saturn obd1I've had people tell me that a little oil won't hurt anything, but I had an early O2 sensor failure on my Dakota after burning old 2 stroke fuel. It's the only vehicle I've ever had a sensor failure on. I wouldn't do it again.
Were oil guzzling $luts. 1 quart every 600-1500 miles depending on how recently i had used sea foam in the crank case. Wifes has 235k on the odo original o2 sensor no engine lights. Mine had 165k. When i scrapped the car due to structural integrity issues. My cruze diesel craped an o2 sensor at 70,000 miles doesn't burn any oil
Probably just a defective part
To the o.p.
Id burn it slowly in a truck over several tanks of fuel if you have mire than a gallon or so thedilution ratio is higher than a mower. Alternately if you mix 25% gas and 75% diesel you get a pretty nice fire starting fluid.
