So Robert, when is the furniture being delivered?? Almost ready for a "tenant" isn't it?

Ava and I took the leather office chair and recliner out there last week. I have to set up the shelf still before I can take the laptop out there.

Shop Vac, that's the answer. Just make sure you empty it after you use it or they will crawl right back out.

A shop vac is a good idea but to use it I would either have to buy one of the cordless shop vacs or haul the generator down there as I have no electricity yet

If you spray a couple of cotton balls with bug spray and then shop vac them up they will kill the bugs and flies that you vacuum up later.

Thanks,

Wally

I am already looking forward to building my next tower stand. D

That sounds familar. If I am not careful then all my hunting time is consumed with thoughts and ideas of what I could do better to this tower stand, or wouldn't it be great to have a new stand looking over this meadow, and how about a green field here if I cleared this patch just a little bit and removed a tree or two. I enjoy hunting, but have begun to worry that maybe I enjoy the "getting ready" more than the hunting.

Thanks Thomas. It is going to be nice being able to relax and actually enjoy hunting again regardless of the wind, rain, snow or cold

I think I enjoy improving the ground for the wildlife and just watching them more then actually hunting. I can put food plots in and maintain the property while watching the deer and turkeys 9 months of the year. Hunting is only 3 months if you count the May turkey season as well as the bow through muzzleloader seasons for whitetail deer in fall/winter. Turkey hunting is fun as its usually nice out and you see a lot of wildlife in May while turkey hunting :)

Wally, that's a good tip, but be prepared for the air being exhausted from the vacuum sweeper to smell just like bug spray. Those vapors will be spread throughout your room the same as the bad smell of ladybugs. You want to use a spray with vapors that are not going to irritate you or place the vacuum outside during this procedure. Killing the bugs shouldn't also make you or your family sick.
