Glad it all worked out for you Bill. I have recommended Mark and Issaquah Kubota to several people and nobody has been disappointed. They are great folks. I bought my B7500 from them over 2 years ago and I still get great service everytime I drop by. Of course, I walk in like a wide eyed kid in a candy store everytime I'm there..... /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Looks like, if all goes well /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif, we may get to push some snow around this weekend. Sounds like a great way to break in a new tractor.

When it was delivered they parked it right in front of a pile of wet sand that's been waiting for it. Task one, move the sand pile.
Hmmm, I can see that this will take a bit of practice before it becomes natural and works in a nice smooth manner.

I braved winchill down to about 0 deg so that I couuld show off my new toy to my neighbor! The headlights work well, but I may have to mount some addtitional lights on the ROPS to the front and the rear.

I'm also seeing how much length the BH adds!

Issaquah Kubota is getting good press this week.

After going through a shorter process I took delivery today of a BX2230 with the 60" MMM, FEL, bush hog and box scraper, and bar tires.

My neighbors on either side have Orange and recommended Issaquah so I didn't look further. Was pleasantly surprised at how they treated me and going by the online guides the price was competitive.

My requirements process was somewhat different as I already have a little excavator and skid-steer loader and do not need the BH or a large FEL. The excavator and skid-steer are terrific for major projects but they tear up the ground, and the skid-steer does not do slopes.

The tractor is primarily for mowing a few acres of rolling pasture with many trees, and periodic bush-hogging of the berry brambles that take over everything else.

I chose the BX2230 with MMM primarily because it has a low center of gravity, compared to the larger machines that can accommodate a BH. Settled on it pretty much by process of elimination. Large enough to be a useful bush-hog and FEL, small enough to be a great mower and be maneuverable along walking paths. At least it better work out that way!

I've been ripping up the gravel it's sitting on and managed to snag the building behind it with one of the feet. Hmm, guess I don't know how wide it is yet.

I have about 500' of drainage ditch that I need to clean out occasionally

So do I plus another 275 feet of road ditch along the frontage of my place.
I always thought I could back a rear mount mower over the ditches to keep them trimmed. However according to what you said a RMM wont work for that so what did you do instead?

I have been thinking about making liners out of plastic drums for the other ditches.
As for the road ditch maybe something like a liner down the front yard on my side lapped down a few inches over the edge of the ditch.

The problem was that the RFM had a wheel at each corner, and when backed up to the ditch, the rear wheels fell off the edge and the mower would scalp before the blades reached the ditch edge.

A hydraulic top link might have solved the problem, as it could be retracted, posssibly enough to lift the back of the mower off the ground slightly, so it would not fall off the edge when backing up to the ditch. But I did not have one, so I could not try that.

I just did not cut up to the ditch edge until I got a smaller tractor (BX2200) with MMM that sticks out past the wheels enough that I can ride along the edge of the ditch and cut right up to the edge with the MMM.

My RFM only stuck out a couple inches beyond my rear wheels on each side. If I ever get another RFM I will get the widest one my tractor can handle, within any limits set by things I have to cut/drive between.

Heck man, they took a personal check when I called and ordered over the phone.

Wonder If you could have added a wheel between the front and back wheels on each side?
To bad they don't make and off set Front rear or mid mount mower.
What are your thoughts on lining the ditches ?

When I bought my kubota it was nip and tuck for a while between the BX23 and a B2410.
I never considered the B 7510.
If I remember correctly the B7510 has less HP than the BX23 and the weight comparison between the two tractors isn't tremendously different.
Had I not went with the BX23 I would have gotten the B2410.

After using the BX 23 for over 4 months I haven't found any need for a larger tractor. If anything I could use a lawn and garden tractor equipped with a rear tiller and a front blade.
The smaller unit equipped like that would make an ideal supplement or assistant to the BX 23 in my case.

Unlike most who buy small and find they could move up to a larger tractor. I found that after buying small I would like to add even smaller to what I now have.

In any event If the B7510 will do what you want and you are happy with it that's all that counts. Congratulations on your choice & Best of times with it

Stability and Maneuverability were 2 of the reasons that led me to choosing the BX23 over the B2410.

Me too. I did get a better quote from Deere on the 4110 than a 7610 comparably equipped. Except for 3HP, the JD outspecs the B7610 in every way. I have nothing against the Kubotas, so please don't take this wrong, but it boils down to features for the money.

Ah yes, went and visited that post. Interesting details.
I have a catalog of (all things) wrecker equipment.
They have lights, light bars, blinking. flashing every-dang-thing -- you name it, they have it. If I see something really cool, I'll post it.

I have found that a pressure washer needs to be in the list of accessories required for tractor ownership.

My wife is unimpressed that I kicked her truck out of the stall she normally parks in and put the tractor there instead. I lost my parking stall to the racecar, so that's ok.
Quite a pair next to each other...
