Good choice. You won't regret it.

What's your plan for a tailgate? Are you going to have one?
I'm not sure if I am going to have one. I will give it a try as it is first. Unless I was hauling somthing lite like mulch I don't think I will need it. If I do need one I will build one with over slung hinges on top.

I am waiting for my hyd. pump to show up and am trying to decide whether to mount it in a tool type box on the tongue or do somthing different.Between the battery and the pump I will be adding quite a bit of tongue weight. I also need to decide how big of a battery I will need. Do I need a deep cycle? I also thought about mounting a solar charger on it.

I got just about every thing done. I do have to go back and touch up the paint and add grease zerks to the hinges. My hyd. pump arrived Friday. I bought a plastic tool box at BigR that it fits perfect in. I mounted the battery back between the axles. I have 130lbs of tongue weight now and didn't want to add another 30lbs.With the box raised I have 90lbs on the tongue. It took a while to figure out how to wire the remote since they didn't include instructions. I used uthf in the pump so it would be the same as the tractor. It takes 25 sec. to raise the box with no load on it and the same to lower. I used 3/8 lines from the pump to the cyl.I still need to build something to hold the remote so I can reach it from the seat. I was looking for a tongue jack on the auction site and they wanted $35-$40 plus $20-$30 for shipping. I found one at my local Farm & Fleet for $31. I am going to weigh it this week. I am guessing it weighs around 1000lbs. I was trying to think of something heavy I could set in the trailer to simulate a load and see how it raises. I don't want to wait for warm weather.
