TC35-45 reverse cooling fan??

I picked up a brochure for this while back, and if I can find it I will post manufacturer info. It basically consist of a thick center hub that encloses a solenoid that shifts the blades to the opposing angle for a few seconds to reverse (airflow) direction. Had applications for many LARGE commercial/industrial applications.

Found the brochure in my deepest darkest brochure archives; It is the "Cleanfix" reversible fans by Novatrax Intl Inc; Cleanfix reversible engine fans. It does not use a solenoid as I thought, but air pressure from onboard sources, or a separate compressor to expand a plate to act against a eccentric to rotate blades, and uses a spring to return blades to normal position.

well, i think he's just gonna have to pay closer attention and jump off every once in a while to clean the vents and watch temp gauge!

Pusher fans were available in the 70's - used on rigs like skid steers used in cleaning chicken houses.

The Clean fix does both. Normally pulls, but when needed it will push to clean the rad/grill, and then return to the pull position. Look to spend around $3,500 or more.
