telescoping links for B7800

I have the B7800 and was also looking for the telescoping links also. I called the dealer here in Ma. They said the ones that are on the 3030 will fit the B7800. they quoted me a price of $400.00

Henro makes a very important point a lot of us overlook on the B7800.

</font><font color="blue" class="small">( One thing that IS better on the B7800 relates to use of a PHD. The B7800 has a foot operated clutch, which allows one to start/stop the PTO with the foot, while twisted around looking at the PHD and lowering it with the 3PH control lever.

Old school me, IMHO is how one starts and engages equipment, with the clutch.

I agree the 2910/3030's have all the comforts and nice features that make a persons life easier, BUT this depends on what your doing with it.

I have used the B7800 locking cruise control for pasture mowing. I end up sweating more than worring about setting it. I cannot compare it to what I don't have, but it works just fine.

I don't grade or do fine positioning, and quite frankly, bushhogging to me is not something that requires a positioning control, I can use checkchains or my eyeball.

On the turnbuckles, hey, I feel your going to bend one sooner or later, so yes, the turnbuckles may have to be swapped out.

To me, the debate is over features, but each person will have a use for the feature.

The only thing I can add, is in the long term, many years, a couple of thousand bucks is a wash, if you like the machine and it has met your needs.
