I have found the best snow removal setup for my area. I live in the mountains of West Virginia with a 1.5 mile long steep driveway. I have a Kubota L5030 with a 8' wide snowplow with hydraulic powered angle on the front and a 8' wide Sweepster broom with hydraulic powered angle on the rear. One pass and the road looks like it never snowed, wet or dry snow. I would upload pictures if I could figure it out, any suggestions?

Bartman, you can go to Photobucket.com and open a free account. Then download the photos from your computer to photobucket. From photobucket you can transfer them into your post here. Try it and if you run into problems maybe I can help.

Sincerely, Dirt

The 8970 and TS-A are two of my favorite tractors and I would love to have one of each someday. I don't have a need for the 8970's size yet but the TS-135A would be a great tractor for replacing my 7710-II

I like the broom on the back.
I already have a blade with hydraulic powered angle on the front of my used BX1500 and I could put a broom on the rear of my new BX1500.

I'm hoping we get a big snow this year. I always enjoy getting out and playing in the snow.

How does the broom work on a gravel drive?
Does it throw it around a lot?
Where bouts in W.Va. are you?
I'm in Ohio across the river .

I would say a big no for a gravel drive. The broom is aggressive and would windrow your gravel to the side your broom is angled on. Some may suggest picking it up and just letting the broom skim over the top but I still say your going to hit an uneven spot and throw gravel up in your yard.
