thinking of upgrade to 2305

I asked how much they would give me for a trade in. $3000 if I upgrade. I was upgrading to a JD2305 then the dealer gives me no break. It was not the amount it was the fact he would not move off list price. I paid list for my X320 and have had a year and a half of headache. So I started calling around. I can get A Kubota BX24 and keep the X320 and still come out ahead.

I am so disappointed in JD that I am thinking of jumping ship.

If you want to stay JD, do as others have said, build one online and get as many quotes as you can. If that dealer does not want you money, another one will.

Boy this thread brings back memories!!! I went thru all this myself 2 years ago...Actually put half down on a JD2320 and waited for 2 months on the dealer to get me a BH with it never happend so I finally got my money back which he had already cashed and went with a B7510 and BH which I had delivered the same day I bought it and saved over 2k on top of it !!! 60hrs plus now and no regrets at all Glad I did go Orange it is sure eaisier to find when you park it on the lawn!!! Maybe the problems your haveing with the mower are the wave of things to come from JD food for thought!

Can't say I blame you from walking away from that JD dealer. Sounds like poor service and overpriced. I ordered the 2305 you priced and it was cheaper up in Hartford after I asked the dealer to sharpen his pencil a couple times. Prices in CT were higher than those across the country (surprise, surprise...) as I surveyed buyers.

All kidding aside, I prefer J Deere because of familiararity but would not pledge alliegience to them. A Kubota with a good dealer is a good tractor.
