Worked in basement under the deck.
Installed joist hangers.
Used transit to level the basement columns.
Shoveled snow off house deck.
Discovered a crack in the back foundation after the backfill yesterday.
Had to scoop mine twice. Didn't worry me much being on a slab. But it was a pain to do. Both times I got lucky and had warm sunshine to finish cleaning the concrete.
After church service, worked on framing Bay window and marked top plates for 2nd floor joists.
Can see where deck extends for bay window. Can see my neighbors house under construction, he was also building it himself.
Took off work.
Finished framing center wall and stood it.
Built headers for doors and openings. The garage foyer and front hall openings have headers above the wall, and joists are on hangers from the headers.
Start frame the upstairs opening.
Opening with osb standing is front hall. To left is basement door. To left of that is pantry.

That makes this more fun. Nice seeing houses and barns being built by pros on here, but it's a lot more interesting when the home owner does all the work themselves.
