19970228 Friday
After work, Built left 2nd floor wall.

You were a building machine. I am taking tomorrow off but will spend a fair amount of it in the tractor. The small piece of field that we cleared in front of the house, I want to make sure that it doesn’t return to weeds so I am putting in grass seed.

19970229. This day didn’t exist, so we are in a time stand still.

But here is a preview. Back right wall and right wall up. Right ridge up, and scaffolding built to reach the ridge.

Setting those second story ridge beams is when you question the wisdom of having a two story house!!!!

Setting the beam wasn’t hard, just built a pole with a pocket to hold it at both ends.

Because of leap year in 2020, the day of the week no longer matches.

19970301 Saturday
Rain in the morning, so I installed the electric panel in the basement.

Installed temporary stairs to 2nd floor.

Installed right side ridge beam, cut and installed 1 rafter to check size.

19970302 Sunday
Cut rafters.
Borrowed my neighbors generator, I don’t remember what happened with mine.

No work on the house the 3rd, rain.

19970305 Wednesday

Took off half day after giving a big demo at work.
Stood rest of back wall and the left side wall.
Build scaffold for left ridge beam.
