Thanks. Great point on the side loading of the grab hooks .... I've managed to bend the top edge on my bucket slightly where the chain crossed while it picking up large logs .... just from the sheer weight. I'm going to weld a piece of 2" x 3" x 1/4" angle across the top to prevent it happening again.
When my dealer installed my bucket hooks he welded them onto a couple of pieces of 4" x 6" x 3/8" plate directly in line with the loader arms. Unfortunately he didn't use the type hooks that are designed to be welded on - so I'm going to replace those with a set of weldable 3/8" grab hooks from AW Direct. I might as well slap a D-Ring on there while I'm at it. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
