Well. the deed is done and it didn't change a thing. I did the conversion this afternoon. When I went out to test it, I mowed flat, uphill and downhill sections. Downhill was the only time it didn't bog. There was one change though. When I shut down the engine, it backfired. That has never happened before. It might be because I didn't throttle down like I almost always do. I'm starting to wonder if the electric clutch for the mower deck is drawing more amps than it should. I'll have to see if I can test for that.
I have my doubts it could be internal. My compression test on both cylinders showed 140. Any thoughts?
