The BX gives a nicer cut for that exact reason, the MMM actually floats, with the gauge wheels only protecting from scalping, if set corectly. The difference is not dramatic, but it there. Trescrow has experience with both the BX and the B MMM's , maybe he can weigh in here.

Unfortunately, the list of implements available is incredibly large, so it's not very practical to list ones that won't fit. Worse, implement X from manufacturer Y may not fit at all, but the same implement from manufacturer Y may fit just fine, so even going by type of implement isn't easy. As you look at what's available, you will see ones that will obviously be problems and others that might be problems, and others that probably won't be a problem. After you've had a BX for a while, you get a pretty good feel for what is what. Unfortunately, that doesn't help you much.
It might be possible to enlist other BX owners to contribute a list of the ones they had problems with, but where would we put it? I suppose I could start another thread and see where it gets. If there's enough response, I might be able to stick out on one of my web sites.

The belly mower on the bx will mow better. However should you chose to move up to the b7500 the difference will be so slight that I don't think you'll notice. If mowing is to be your primary use than the bx is a great way to go. However, the tasks that need to be done around a new house will always have you wishing for more HP and larger tires.
