Got her up and going again yesterday for a couple of hours. More running time, operating through all gears, etc.
She sounded great. Although, she's only got 30-40 hrs total since a complete engine overhaul, new clutch, and new PTO a few years ago. Once done, I let her sit a bit and checked over the fluids again. Engine oil is looking great.....still no hint of any water ever being there. Tranny fluid started to show a bit of an off-colored, not-quite-so-clear tint so I'll be changing that again this coming weekend when I get back to her.
Otherwise, greased everything and sprayed a little lubricating oil here-and-there on various bits and pieces. Battery is getting weak but don't know whether the water had anything to do with that or not since it wasn't doing just exactly great beforehand. Other electrical parts still ticking like a clock.
I bought the little thing several years ago on the cheap as a bit of a project with every intention of keeping it for the long term. Now, after two floods (one near fatal), and living on.....I really can't see myself ever parting with it. Really developing some history here.
With the amount of water we had running through here, there was a fair bit of erosion and movement. Looks like I'll be hanging the box blade on her and doing a little reclamation as time permits before too long.
