I want to buy this trailer.
It meets all my light duty needs (I think lol).
Its a short (10 foot flat and 2.5 foot beaver tail), bumper pull, deck over (101” wide) with nice GVWR (12,000 pounds). I like the steel deck. It looks stout.
The problem is the ramps. I like the ramps, but they dont narrow-in enough for my zero turn. UNLESS I want to load “ off center “ like on the right and center ramp, or left and center ramp.
I'd like to remove all 3 ramps and replace them with one, wide, reinforced ramp with a spring assist, because the ramp will get very heavy. Reason why is because I'd like to carry either my zero turn or a mid size skiddy on it. I can also carry 6 round bales for my smaller customer deliveries. OR, would one redesign the tube on which the ramps mount as a single clean tube which 2 of the ramps can be infinitely adjusted? (I would eliminate the center ramp)
1. Can such a ramp be purchased, or is it a custom fab job?
I can get the trailer for under 2K. The lights would also need to be moved and replaced, but that doesn't look difficult.

Suggestions?

A new trailer like this would be north of $5,000, according to my research.
I really want a TILT like this, but I dont think tilts can be had shorter than 16'

Why certainly you can purchase "such a ramp",but then how do you think it could be installed without doing "a custom fab job"? "I think lol".

You are probably going to need a much longer ramp than the current ramp length to get a zero turn mower up on that deckover.

I would cut of the lights and ramps. Move lights to the outside of the rear and use the two wide ramps inside the new light locations. Sell the third ramp.

I would not buy the trailer!

I would not buy the trailer!

Respectfully, May I ask why?

By the way this trailer was originally used to carry a big a Toro 3 wheeled mower similar to this.

I would re evaluate the lights and then move the pivots for the outside ramps closer to the center so you could move them narrower.

It looks like the ramps are welded to the pivots. That’s another problem.

I can’t tell from the pictures but I doubt they’d have went through the effort of welding pipes on the ramps if they were welding them to the pivots.

The dovetail peak is going to cause the problem not the ramps.
