Using a subsoiler as a ditch digger

This what I use for trenches. It is a hyd motor turning a 26 in carbide tipped wheel. Does an outstanding job.

You could make something like this with a hyd motor, blade disk, and carbide teeth. Mount it on the bucket , 3pt or make a push/pull trencher.

I also have the subsoiler for pulling pipe.

Is that the powertrac stump grinder?

I'm pretty sure it was a close-out at Agri-Supply. They were changing to the fix/solid ones that looked like King Kutter at $50 more. I paid $95 IIRC, when I saw that it was adjustable, I had to have it.

I just looked it up on Agri-Supply and it's still listed but for $129... No photo there

Yes, it is a stump grinder/trencher from the early 90's

Thats pretty cool JJ. I think I may want/need something to bury the line while I am at it (since I found out I can).

On a different note I am thinking of building a scaled down sickle mower type contraption for pruning grapes, blackberries and raspberries (I have about 3 acres of them). I want to learn more about a Hydraulic motor that would give me the reciprcating action.
