I mowed roughly 2 acres last night, what a dream!! The tires were over-inflated, I let some air out and it made a big difference in the ride. It follows the contours very well and leaves a great cut.

I put together a short video of the F series:

Today I ordered deck castor pins and bushings, will be in next week. $175 total from local dealer, a little higher than Messicks but trying to stay local.

I took the seat off to clean the slide mechanism, was bound up bad.

My seat cushion is shot. I don’t even want to ask what a new one costs.

Not sure but I doubt original replacement seat or cushion is available.

My seat has definitely seen better days,,,,, I'm not sure if I'll splurge one a new one or not, but I'm definitely adding rubber isolators, they should be here within a week.

The water pump is leaking some coolant from the shaft area. So I'm guessing it is the weep hole. The one on it is bare aluminum so I don't believe it is factory, I think factory ones would be all gray in color, I'll have to look at my BX to be sure.

Another must-do item is to replace the seal around the air inlet screen and adjust the latch so the hood closes evenly on each side, there is little room for error or it sucks in around the seals.

It's getting close to when I'll have to get my old F2000 and it's 72" side discharge deck going again.

We’ve already mowed twice down here.

I built the seat iso-mounts in 3d... will be several parts to cut out.

Hopefully the second pic makes my plan more apparent. The black boxes are the black plastic control consoles, the orange is the floorboard/fenders/seat mount location. The round things are the rubber iso-mounts, Exmark part #109-9034. They allow .5" vertical and .75" lateral movement. The sloped plate is what the seat rails will sit on. The seat will sit just over an inch taller than stock after this modification.

Here is a stock photo showing the same angle:

I used rubber iso mounts on my ZD331. They were just common pipe plugs from a hardware store. Worked great.
I would do like to do them for my F3680, too.

Looks like a good plan!
Those Exmark rubber mounts are about $60 each, ouch...
