What have you done with/to your GC Series 2300, 2400, 1700 Tractor TODAY

I just wrapped up this project this afternoon. Built the hydraulic system from scratch, fabricated the joystick mount and front mount to convert a JD 318 54 inch hydraulic snow plow to my GC 2400. Been planning this project for over a year and just completed the painting today. But it feels so right! We are in a warm snap where I am in the Northeast so my GC is just sitting there missing me... I need a snow event to call me outdoors

We received 6" of new snow last night, and this morning it's way above normal at 26 degrees F and it's RAINNING, oh rats, I hate freezing rain because the trees get loaded down and begin bending at the tops.

We have a similar condition 2 winters ago, and because I lost about 50 large Fir/Spruce trees, I do hate freezing rain.

We had a freezing rain event earlier this year that did some damage around here. I'll have to take a tree down before the ground thaws as a result as it snapped a bunch of main branching and the top of the tree out. 50 and sunny or 28 and snowing, that cold damp stuff in the middle is garbage.

Yes this winter is a weird one, much warmer and about half the snow so far.

Hope "Mother Nature" helps both of us for the rest of the winter?

2 winters ago I also lost the largest Fir tree on my property, about 28" diameter, it just laid over and fell to the ground and popped the root ball out of the ground, with everything still connected.

Maybe we will not get any -40 degrees F, I sort of miss the normal winter...

Oh so you're the one to blame! Your new toys are scaring off all the snow! Lol. I'm sure it'll all come in good time.

Even tho it is not on my GC1705 I do consider it part of the poor mans 1705/TLB and that is the HF Trencher I bought but anyway I ordered a 16.5 inch bolt on thumb for it.
