This is the best site ever. It is the only forum I have ever joined and in all seriousness this site is way more about the people of this great country that sometimes talk about tractors and other things (see above). :thumbsup:

Variety is the spice of life. TBN would be a rather boring place if it was limited to only tractor talk. :tractor:

Not only do TBNers have loads of knowledge and experience, TBNers don't bring out the rudeness when sharing compared to other sites. I have only THOUGHT of blocking someone on TBN a couple of times but have never done so. On other sites I am on, I have blocked several people. What I really don't understand is that the demographics of the various sites I am on seem to be similar, though there are more non US people on the other sites. Yet the other sites just are routinely ruder than TBN. :confused3:

I really don't understand why there is a difference. All of the websites are about people with a specific shared interest, yet the other sites just have quite a few rude people. Tis odd.

One of the reasons I have been on TBN for all of these years is the sharing of experience and knowledge but also the humor and scientific exploration. Where else on the Internet can one find the long, in depth, conversation about The Mysteries of the Pallets in a Field? :confused3::laughing::laughing::laughing:

There is plenty of stuff they mistake for bigfoot...considering the fact that there is absolutely zero physical evidence of their existence...none...!
What's even funnier is the fact that before everyone started carrying cameras (in the form of cell phones and the millions of game cameras out there) there are even less (fake) pictures than there used to be (before digital cameras)...

I will agree that this is one of the most friendly sites on the internet. You can always learn something when you ask questions here. Somebody else will look at the same situation quite a bit differently than you do and that's a good thing.

I'm on a few boards and I always tell other board members that we set the tone for the whole organization. If a board is unfriendly and suspicious or dishonest etc. that spills over into the way the company is operated by the manager. If a board is respectful to each other and truly work together for the betterment of the company that spills over into management too.

I've wondered if the friendliness/attitude of the owner of this site hasn't spilled over into how we generally treat each other?

If you think that needing actual proof that bigfoot exists is required, just ask how many people have seen a black panther?

Hard to tell how big Oscar is, but I'm betting he will get a lot bigger. My Grand Dad told me that he raised a Poland China Boar that weighed 1200 pounds, and I have seen Durocs that weighed...my estimate...750 pounds. Needless to say, a boar that big is one big stinky dude.
