OP I also live in NY and have bough bad E0 fuel. It was at a station with many options of fuel. I now only buy E0 fuel at stations with there only high test being E0. Lots of cars use it and this means more volume is ran through the station.

In my area and a rule in general this means your going to be buying 91 octain E0 fuel at Stewart's.

You have alot of water in that fuel tank. I would dump, clean and put fresh on.

It was for either one, as my post was about stored gasoline.

Some of that gas goes into vehicles with carburetors, some with EFI. And some gets used for other purposes, once my experiments fail and the gas is no longer usable in vehicles or other engines.

I only know that once we started using Ethanol free gas we have not had problem!! My snowmobile is a 95 model Yamaha 4 cycle 4 cylinder and the problem we had every year was the needle valve was stuck. had to take the carbs apart and use needle nose pliers to get the needle free. Each carb had two o rings that we had to replace at 8 dollars each times 4 carbs.( that was Yamaha price. We found a local gaskets supplier that got us the metric O rings and he gave them to us. said they cost him about 75 cents for all of them) Have not needed any for the past 8 years or more since we started using ethanol.

I'd have no problem with using ethanol free gas, but driving some 200 miles to fill up the 200 gallon tank I can do without. And it takes a while to load the tank on a trailer and then set it back in its place when returning.

So far it seems like regular 86 octane and Star Tron works just as well, both of which I get delivered.

Fortunate that I have 90 and 89 ethanol free within 10 miles of house. Only use that for my 2 stroke equipment. Run 87 regular unleaded in the 4 stroke air cooled engines. Like you I run Star Tron plus I add a splash of Seafoam. Engines seem to like it as some may set close to a year before ran again. Never have problems getting started and running even after not being used for so long.
