OH, another thing that drives me nuts is (and mostly newbies do it) but it is reviving an 8 year old thread and offering advise.:confused2: I dont mind so much when someone revives a old thread to ask "how did it turn out", or "did you ever get it fixed", but dont revive one to ask a new qestion.
There's a name for that: necroposting.

As to the original question, sorry to say but too many typos/grammar/spelling errors do it for me. Makes me want to loose my mind.

Were you kidding when you said "loose my mind"? I'm just wondering how credible your post should be considered ;)

As for me, I tend to ignore any post which provides no insight. Anyone can guess, I'm looking for evidence or personal experience to back it up. I've had threads where people would get all upset if I followed someone else's advice, but I'd rather someone be mad at me than follow questionable advice and mess up my project.

Saying you've done something before doesn't make it the right thing to do. Explaining why it is done that way goes a long way, especially for the future people who find the thread years from now.

Anyone who states something completely wrong as fact loses all credibility with me. If you can't trust someone, what is left?

Most TBN members don't use Facebook. We did some test campaigns to promote our FB page and almost nobody "liked" it.
I don't use that feature for anybody...I'm also very careful about what I post in any public forum.

For me, any member here who doesn't provide their real name or hides behind a false alias is usually dismissed straight out as a troll, fake or flake. More so if they hide behind a facade of where they live, ie: "anywhere and everywhere" or those who claim to have "any number of tractors", etc. Those here who put an honest name and their own face and location on TBN will have more credibility to me than a hundred trolls or fakes combined. Too bad TBN does NOT require something like Facebook registration to qualify for membership here.

You gotta be kidding me.
Seriously?

Wow another great thread I missed, makes me wanna come clean guys.....

I am really a finger nail artist in LA.....

Not

But really, for me it doesnt matter what name someone puts on their posts, if they are a regular poster who they are or more importantly what kind of person they are seems to come thru. I do like it when they include some sort of location information so I know what areas of the country to avoid:D

The days of posting specific private information should be gone. Did the OP provide info of his home address, home phone number, ss#, family pictures, schools the kids go to? Of course not. It isn't safe to do that.

OP here, I am in Central Michigan and known as a mean, grumpy, opinionated and potty mouthed old fart so I warned you to give this area a wide berth. Yeah I am a regular poster too but a lot of people here don't like me because I am a mean, grumpy, opinionated and potty mouthed old fart.
There you go !!!
