I do think it should be a good game particularly with the Eagles defense and #26 running the ball, but if there is one heck of a lucky team out there, it's KC.

Chiefs by a field goal with Mahomes once again securing it on the final posession. No guess on exact score. I don't see Saquon running with the same success against the chiefs and Mahomes is just so dialed in under pressure. He's one of the few who seem to perform better when it counts.

I don’t doubt what you’re saying except when you got to the Saquon part. The Chiefs have the 9th ranked defense in the NFL (Eagles #1 defense in the NFL).


I’m not saying the Eagles will run all over the Chiefs, but they are 8th in rush defense. Also noteworthy is the Eagles have the best Offensive line in the NFL.

Maholmes is one of the all-time greats, but after this many wins, has he become complacent?

We will find out.

I have a slight feeling KC may be overconfident in their previous successes and their media adulation and all the nauseating Taylor Swift nonsense.
Philadelphia has more hungry veterans who want their Super Bowl ring.

Yeah, I know the Patriots teams were amazing and KC is like the next dream team, but we were the ones that finally knocked that Patriots team off in 2017.

I like the matchup. I give the Eagles at least a punchers chance.

From a statistic standpoint, Eagles have had more total yards on offense vs the Chiefs in both the regular season and post season play by a good bit (I was surprised that the chiefs only had about 500 yards more in passing yards than the eagles in 2024).

That said, the Eagles have the #1 defense in the league, and something I found surprising is that in pass defense, the Eagles are #1 and the Chiefs are #18.

Of course stats don't win games, but if there ever was a chance of a team running away with the game, I'd lean towards the Eagles.

2017 ended that. Of course the Eagles can blow it. They are facing a dynasty team that has the refs, hollywood and the nations fans on their side.
The eagles can play with any team in the NFL and have been like that for a while though.

Maholmes and Kelce is what runs the Chiefs in crunch time-when the lights are brightest.
The Eagles thrive behind their O-line and Saquon throughout the game to physically beat the other team’s defense to death.

On offense, what will prevail? Steady run game offense and ball control? Or lightning strike offense?
Big red is a great coach too, but Siriani has an unreal record over the last 3 years.

The eagles have the better defense, but contrary to the old saying “defense wins championships”, its more like “offense wins Super Bowls”.
