.....................but a Grand L might be too big. If considering the Grand L be sure it will get into all the places you need on the property. If you have groomed lawn you probably dont want to run over it with a Grand L. How is the turning radius on the Grand L on your property. .....................................
The results might surprise you. After getting some time on the L4240HSTC we purchased last December, it just seemed more agile than the L3200 it is replacing. To check them I poked a driveway marker in the ground next to the rear tire and then made a hard turn. Stopping the tractor after the tractor completed a 180 degree turn, the rear tire on the L3200 was 98" away from where it started. The L4240 drew a tighter circle at 71".
Today I had the little Ford 1210 out for a bit and couldn't help but wonder how tight it would turn. Tried the same test and it was 80". Both Kubotas have R4's and the Ford has R1's.
