3032E John Deere
Workhorse
Model Year: 2018

This small to medium tractor is rated for hobby farms, or small farms to 10 acres. We have just shy of 160 acres and I can say this tractor has seen its share of abuse, but still 'runs like a Deer(e)'! It in no way has faltered in its performance and has stood up to major performance that I did not think it would. We have moved about 70 large trees and continue to push scrub brush, move tree trunks, and push stumps of trees that are up to 6 to 8 feet in diameter. Yes, the price you pay for is the name, and for the same motor you could have probably paid less for the Yanmar. It is a really great tractor, but it is still pricey to get this serviced!

Pros: A true workhorse. goes well beyond its duty!
Cons: Over priced for simple service issues!

3032E John Deere
Terrible Machine With John Deere Decals
Model Year: 2015

I bought it because it had John Deere decals and I thought that meant quality, even though my cousin warned me against the E series tractors. It's cheap built, plastic, plastic, and more plastic, and then you get cast iron where you should have steel. You name it, I've had issues: gauges replaced multiple times, power take-off went out, hydraulic leaks multiple times, front axle repaired, fuel tank leaks, and hydraulic pump went out. I was on a first name basis with the service department, and those guys told me its a junker with constant issues. I ended up trading it for a New Holland Workmaster 33 and its been 10 times the tractor the 3032E was, The Workmaster 33 is built like a tank, out-weighs the 3032E by 800 pounds, and you can sure feel the difference in build quality. The kicker is the New Holland (old Ford tractors) actually cost less than the junker 3032E. I've got 350 hours on the New Holland so far and it's never missed a beat. If you buy the 3032E because of the John Deere name like I did, you will be disappointed.

Pros: John Deere name
Cons: Completely garbage but has John Deere name

Power Take-Off Bad And The Loader Is Dumping A 15-Pound Load In 30 Minutes
Model Year: 2016

At around 5 hours, I turned on the power take-off and it sounded like the whole rear end was coming apart after that loader started dropping down and emptying the load! I had the dealership take the tractor in to the shop. After 2 weeks, they tried to say that was normal - which was a lie! The loaner tractor has no problems, no noise above normal, and it is a model 4105 with 80 hours. They cannot figure out what to do. They have 2 more in stock with the same problem! I told them not to bring it back to me like that!

Pros: Tractor was easy too operate
Cons: Engine was way too noisy

3032E John Deere
Great Little Tractor
Model Year: 2015

I have had this tractor for 9 months now. It has 490 hours. The only problem so far is that the tachometer worked intermittently. They replaced the dash. I should have gotten the 3038E, just for the extra horsepower, and it is a bit tippy, but not worth going up to the 3046R which is more stable and has more features, which I probably wouldn't use anyway. Being able to switch the rears like on the 3046R would give a lot more stability. I will probably replace it after another year or so, probably around 1500 hours, and go to the 3038E or 3046R, depending on how the next year goes. I run a Trimax 155 mulch mower, Bertolini 400lt 6-meter boom sprayer, 5-foot box scraper, 400-kl fertilizer spreader, 10-foot paddock harrows and have a set of pallet forks and bucket for the front-end loader.

Pros: Nimble, great size for some tight spaces
Cons: A bit tippy

3032E John Deere
New JD 3032E Owner
Model Year: 2014

I have owned my JD 3032E for about a month and I am very pleased. First, keep in mind I bought an E series on purpose as I have no need for the features of the R series, so why pay for them. My reason for buying this tractor was to pull a land plane (Frontier LP1172) to maintain our 1,000 foot driveway, drag our sand horse arena with a yet to be purchase DragonFly (I'm using a chain harrow for now), and maintain the 12x12 manure bin with the D160 loader and bucket. I gave it a 5 on build quality. Although I am not a mechanic, it seems to be built well I gave it a 5 on features as it has all feature a home owner would want. If you want more you should buy the R series. I gave it a 4 on performance because although it does everything I bought it for, it will not pull a 72-inch land plane smoothly, ripping down deep into sand\dirt that is not entirely dry as it will build up in the land plane. When dry there is no issues as the dirt flows over the blades and does not build up. I gave it a 5 on value because for the money I got everything I wanted for a great price I gave it a 4 on reliability because although I have only owned it for a month it has been hassle free and great customer service from my JD dealer.

Pros: Easy to use (loader, power take-off, hydrostatic transmission, power steering, foldable ROPS, two pin removable bucket)
Cons: if you need a third function for a grapple or a rear hydraulic attachment you will have to buy the rear hydraulic kit

3032E John Deere
Another Home Run
Model Year: 2015

I started out driving 4020s as a teenager and then went on to 86 series 4-wheel drives. I need a compact tractor for mowing and horse barn chores. The 3032E works great in my 20-foot aisle way and runs my John Deere mower with ease. The visibility and control ergonomics are great. The sale price is a fair trade for an old tractor and 0% made this an easy choice.

Pros: See above
Cons: None

Leaky Seals
Model Year: 2013

I bought my 3032E in December of 2013, it has 412 hours. First the hydrostatic went out, and it cost $165 to pick it up and deliver. A week later, it started leaking from the front wheels and was picked up again. John Deere has had it for over 3 weeks waiting on parts. I wouldn't recommend this tractor.

Pros: The price was fair. I like the 4-wheel drive
Cons: Can't get parts in a timely manne

3032E John Deere
Great Little Tractor
Model Year: 2015

I just bought five acres and needed a tractor to maintain it. I have a little bit of everything on my property, from trees to blackberries, and grass to wetlands. I looked at new and used tractors, John Deere, Kubota, and New Holland. Their are pluses and minuses with all the tractors I looked at. The cheapest was New Holland and the most expensive was Kubota, John Deere was rite in the middle. I have a 60' brush hog, 60' scraper, and a front end loader for it. This tractor has plenty of power for me. I just got two end dumps of boulders for a retaining wall. The wall will be only three feet tall. I've been using my tractor to move some of the boulders and it has plenty of power. I know its not a front end loader or an excavator. You still have to put it through its paces. If you want a tractor with all of the options, this isn't the tractor for you. Do your home work and buy what fits for you. I've never owned a tractor, but have been around equipment. The JD 3032 has done everything i have wanted it to do and then some. It's a great tractor so far. Only time will tell if it will last!!

Pros: Good power for what it is
Cons: None

3032E John Deere
270 hour tractor already needs $2,500 of parts
Model Year: 2012

I bought a brand new tractor for reliability. Guess I should have bought something other than a john Deere. Less than three years old with around 270 hours, my 3032e already needs two expensive parts replaced. The rpm gauge does not work and the hydrolock system has a bad valve. Both parts add up to over $2,500 and john Deere corporate says they are very sorry. If you buy this tractor, plan for an extra $10 per hour of use for parts replacement.

Pros: The size fits my needs.
Cons: Very expensive operating costs.

3032E John Deere
John Deere 3032e
Model Year: 2010

This is a great tractor! Lots of power. With the 305 FEL, it has more lifting capacity (~1150 lbs) than the rear of the tractor can handle....meaning that the rear wheels will leave the ground with a full bucket of dense material, especially if the tractor is on non-level ground with the front of the tractor lower than the rear. Recommend that the rear wheels get filled with liquid ballast as part of the initial purchase. Using a BB2060 rear box blade (475 lbs) was a help but not enough. The rear tires hold 31 gallons each x 2 @ ~8 lbs/gallon (windshield washer fluid) = 496 lbs of additional weight to the rear. The combination of the box blade and liquid ballast (971 lbs) keeps the rear wheels on the ground when carrying a full bucket of rocks, etc. One minor negative is the cumbersome access into the seat. If wearing work boots (which most of the time I am when I'm working) and using the auxiliary step with my right foot, there's not much room for my left foot between the front of the rear fender and the brake pedal. It gets wedged between the two and I have to twist my foot or lift it above the brake pedal. Another attachment that has multiple uses is a set of front pallet forks. This isn't so much a comment about this tractor but rather the multiple uses of this attachment. Obviously pallet forks can be used for lifting pallets but they also are great for carrying tree trunks, branches, lumber and most any material that is longer than what would fit inside the 5' front bucket. The forks also do quick work of "plucking" large rocks out of the ground and if the forks are placed side-by-side, they do a good job of breaking up the ground when digging a trench. They don't scoop-up the un-earthed dirt but they break-up the dirt for much easier shoveling by-hand. Incidentally, my understanding is that this model does not accept a backhoe attachment. Overall, a great tractor!

Pros: Power, power steering is super smooth, tight turning radius.
Cons: Cumbersome access to cab. Backhoe incompatible (if it matters).

3032E John Deere
Gets It Done
Model Year: 2013

I used it to help put in over 1,000 feet of fencing. Love the pallet forks I got. Carried the rolls off fencing, railroad ties and bags of concrete. Used auger as well. Need to get counter weight for balancing when carrying loads. Also use it for grading land in the horse area, pulled out some trees, hauled baskets of firewood and helped the neighbor level his large barn floor. Use it for stacking hay in the barn too.

Pros: Fast, plenty strong, no complaints.
Cons: None.

3032E John Deere
The 3032E Could Be a Great Tractor if Not for the 305 Loader
Model Year: 2013

I've been around equipment all my life, and I really appreciate quality machinery. Since I had a JD 4010 compact tractor that I loved, I figured it would be a safe bet to upsize to a 3032E with a 305 loader. It didn't take long to figure out the 305 has very little breakout force, and even worse, the leak-down rate is awful. JD factory says up to 7.5" leak-down per hour is "within specs" And guess what, that's with no load. I'm trying to get some resolution with JD now, but it's not looking too promising. And to think I could have saved thousands buying a Mahindra with better hydraulics. If you're not getting the loader, the tractor is a pretty good machine.

Pros: Comfortable, good hydro control.
Cons: 305 loader power is limited, and leak-down rate is awful.

3032E John Deere
My Tractor
Model Year: 2009

The John Deere 3032E has been a good tractor for my 4 acres. I have a bucket and box blade that were purchased at same time as the tractor and purchased a 5ft shredder approx. 1 yr. later. I welded a former truck receiver hitch into the center of the three point bracket of the box blade. It is the John Deere line Pioneer with 3/8" triangle plates instead of strap steel. I mount a 9000 lb winch in the receiver to pull on my home made stump puller and have successfully pulled out a 12" mesquite recently. I am also in the process of cutting and welding plate to make the ROPS fold-able.

Pros: Small yet fairly powerful. Very maneuverable. Easy controls.
Cons: Non-folding ROPS. Hydraulics seep when sitting (even new). Expensive to add auxiliary ports.

3032E John Deere
Almost Perfect
Model Year: 2008

This tractor does everything I need to do. We run a Supper 66 New Holland Baler and put up 400 plus bales with out a problem. We have a small hobby farm and I couldn't do it without this tractor. The only problem I have with this tractor is the front seals. I have put three sets in the last year. Thanks to my John Deere dealer I only paid once. I have two neighbors with same tractor and they have the same problem.

Pros: Size, power, looks, and price.
Cons: Seals.

John Deere 3032E

Very capable and hard working small hydro-stat tractor with four wheel drive and a loader. Handles a 5 ft. bush hog and tiller very well. Having fluid in the rear tires (Rim guard) helps make good use of the loader with its joystick. Very capable at moving rock, dirt and debris plus leveling ground.

Pros: 4 wheel drive, loader, detachable bucket, hydro-stat.
Cons: Horsepower adequate, maybe needed a little more.

3032E John Deere
Great Tractor. Works Hard.
Model Year: 2013

We have a small horse farm. The tractor was used extensively with a new fencing project, moving manure, hauling tree branches, and for a landscaping project. It does everything. We discovered it didn't have enough power to aid the lift truck in getting our manure spreader delivered, but other than that, works great. We move 1000 pound round bales with it, using a ballast box in the back. For a small farm, it's an excellent tractor. Couldn't be happier.

Pros: Ease of bucket removal, user friendly, right size for our farm, sturdy.
Cons: None.

3032
Model Year: 2012

I purchased this tractor on a 0% deal from John Deere. One drawback was you could do operate the PTO while off the tractor. I found a fix for this on TractorByNet. After only 40 hours, I had a severe leak in the hydraulic fluid and tractor was in the shop for over 3 weeks and had to be broken apart, major fix. I would have liked if JD would have extended the warranty or at least acknowledge the problem.

Pros: Right size for my operation.
Cons: Can not attach belly mower.
