I was approved to buy a Kubota 2601 but the dealer didn't sell trailers. So, in my hunt for a trailer, I came across a Kioti dealer that had the trailer I wanted. Long story short. after seeing the Kubota and then the Kioti, it was not a tough decision at all. I use mine for trenching, loading 5-ton trucks, breaking driveways, clearing brush, digging out stumps, you name it. I have a 6-foot blade I've adapted to the front-end loader and I can level hard packed driveways in just a few passes. I installed a manual thumb on the hoe and can pick up almost 3-foot diameter rocks and logs. The 180-degree swing is awesome when I have my 5 by 8 utility trailer hooked up to the tractor. I can load with the hoe and use the hoe to dump the trailer. I have a 48-inch Farm King brush cutter and actually get fairly nice results even on lawns! I'm picking up a new 48-inch rototiller for it on Monday. I've only broken one thing so far, but that was on the trailer rail where the ramps hook up to. I am very happy with this machine. It is very capable for its horsepower, and perfect for the areas it can get into and other machines can't. I don't pretend it to be a big machine. I have a very capable machine in a small package. It's a perfect niche for me!

Great Tractor

So far, this has been a great tractor except the foot pedal sticks a little in forward and it seems like that could be dangerous. Thank goodness for 4-wheel drive, because the lighter weight than I am used to (upgraded from a Ford 8N) has me spinning wheels more than I would like. With 4-wheel drive and the locking rear axle I have not gotten stuck yet. It has plenty of power for my 5-foot bush hog, even in wet tall grass. I wish the loader could perform 2 movements at the same time.

Pros: Strong loader, strong tractor, 4-wheel drive, price
Cons: Loader only performs 1 movement at a time. tractor too light

The backhoe and front-end loader on this machine are monsters and it is a good thing because the hydraulic drive sucks. In low at max rpm, it will bog down and stall the engine before it spins one tire, let alone three. Drop a rear tire in a hole and you are lifting the tractor out with the backhoe. Good thing it is strong enough to do it. Makes me wonder why it comes with 4-wheel drive and diff lock.

Pros: Front-end loader and backhoe float feature, independent rear brakes, strong attachments
Cons: Weak hydrostatic drive, love this tractor other than this, high should be low and low should be lower

This tractor is a real workhorse. The back hoe is powerful enough to move the tractor around before going into relief. The loader is also strong. You will lose traction with the tires before it quits on you. (I have R4). All real work is done in Low as High is only for moving on level ground. And you'll need full RPM to climb hills. I gave it 4* for Build Quality and Reliability because of the many problems I had with dealer set-up. I know they are independent of the manufacturer but they should be better trained and overseen. And I had to fight with Kioti to make it right. I considered the other brands in this size and Kioti blows them away with value and performance. They need to work on the manuals supplied and get the 800lb gorilla at the factory to ease up on tightening the filters. The manuals are inconsistent on 50hr service requirements so I changed all filters and oils (engine and hydraulic)

Pros: Value for the $$$. Performance vs it's class.
Cons: Hydraulic filters $$$. Tech support at corporate is also customer service.

2014 Kioti CK2510 HST

The Kioti CK2510 HST seems to be a work horse. The front loader and backhoe makes the tractor a versatile machine for the homeowner that has minor property clearing, digging ditches and a little farming in between. I have been well satisfied with the machine's performance so far, and learned quickly to be careful working on grades with the 'hoe attached. If I had known how stout the loader was, I would have gotten the 54" bucket instead of the standard 50". Only gripe so far is that the indicator lights on the instrument panel don't match what the operators manual shows. My machine has a check engine light where the manual shows the diff. lock light. I've talked to the people at Kioti to see if there is a supplement for any differences.

Pros: Powerful, quick, comfortable.
Cons: Instrument panel doesn't match owner's manual.
