That's similar to what I used. Only mine is about twice as long and attaches with two huge bolts.

They have a 12" : 97095
and an 18" : 97093

I think mine is 12"

This is a different item. I was wondering about the reference above to a hitch like mine but with two bolts to secure it (mine only has one). The hitch in my picture above is item #65961. The two items here are 12" and 18" extensions of the 2" tube that slides into the hitch I have - not the hitch itself.

I just made a receiver hitch for my x700. I will post pics middle of this week after it is all painted and installed.

I simply took 2pcs of 2"x6x1/4" and welded together to create a 4x6 plate. This is to be the mounting plate at the bottom.

next I welded a 3 1/2" long x 2" tube steel vertical in the middle, then took some of the same material (same size as a receiver tube, and made an "L" to be the receiver. I also welded a triangle gusset for support.

3rd I made a wide "H" or I configuration of of angle and flat steel. This is welded to the top of the receiver tube, then bolted to the sides of the tractor frame to existing holes.

I figured out how to add a pic.

Here's a 3d sketchup of my design to help explain

That looks like it's incredibly strong and certainly wobble-free. That's awesome.

Not sure what you want. But that is what I used. It receives just like the item you reference, and I don't believe it would go into your part unless your part is larger than standard catIII. I added holes that match the hole pattern on my tractor and bolted it on. It accepts standard cat III towing accesories. I use a carry-all, a sleeve hitch, and a ball hitch (all standard unmodified) with it. Slide in, insert pin; just as it should. Sits low, but works perfectly for me. There is a "double" one availabe that I guess would raise the height. but, then so would an offset insert.
