LS is no longer a part of LG either.. LS is a spin off.

Yes, but the loaders are different. A Boomer 20 is an LS J2023H. A Boomer 25 is an LS J2030H. There are some cosmetic difference...headlights, grills, etc, but that's about it.

Boomer 20 = LS J2020H
Boomer 24 = LS J2023H
Boomer 25 = LS J2030H

I did a ton of research on these models. The bottom line is New Holland gives you darker paint, a lower capacity FEL, and takes more of your money.

You're right, I had the 2020 and 2023 mixed up, although they share the same dimensions.

Are the New Holland in fact LS machines?

Found this picture from the South Korean factory on Facebook the other day...

The JD 1025R is 102.6" long with 3pt and weighs 1,444lbs.

An LS J2023 is 103" long with 3pt and and weighs 1,565lbs.

I wouldn't call .4" and 121lbs a significant difference....especially because there is no standard in how they weigh them.

I had the chance to see a J2020 some months ago and posted some photos. Can't remember the thread title right now. The LS may be nearly identical in dimension but when sitting on it, it feels much bigger than a JD 1025R.

OK So the 99% use piece would be mowing the lawn, maintaining a 275' gravel driveway and moving "stuff" around with the FEL for DW who loves to garden but needs help with the heavy stuff. The extreme projects would be clearing downed pine trees (with the help of a chainsaw) digging drain lines and clearing brush from our 2.5 acre hill.

I think the real difference is how many years can you abuse it. Rental yards and contractors only use Kubota, you are starting to see a few Kiotis every now then. I have been a Kubota owner for 20 + years and Kioti for 10. I use my stuff hard and both brands will take hard use. Cant speak of other brands but do see friends with different tractors very disappointed.

Now that is cool!

I am not sure that is the word I would use. And right or wrong that is one reason I liked Kubota...I know who made the thing. Yea I know brands get relabeled all the time, I just don't like it.
