In addition to the cut-stump method, you could use the hack-and-squirt method. Use a hatchet to hack into the bark of the stump, then squirt the glyphosate into the cut areas.

That would be the proper tool for the job.:thumbsup: On power line R/Ws we used to have 3 guys cutting, and one treating the stumps with a backpack sprayer. You only need to cover the sapwood.Tordon RTU

:thumbsup:I drill deep holes in them, (a bunch) and put road salt into the holes, what the moose don't eat rots and in a year or so I can break them up piece by piece.
