What have you done with/to your GC Series 2300, 2400, 1700 Tractor TODAY

Oh man, you do have many snow removal tools in your tool box.

They all serve a purpose. I do the 12x30 deck with my walk behind snowblower. My deck used to be 15x30 in front and one side was 6x45 but I removed it for building purposes. Had ice heave just about take my front deck out 4 years ago and totally take my lower pavers out and you can see the sand is pushed up to the bottom of my 9ft patio window, I was surprised that it did not take the window out and/or the lower patio doors, that sand used to be all Z paver blocks.
You can see that I had to remove about a 3x30 foot length of deck so I could re support it.

What size UHMWPE half inch?

I used 1/8" thick (.125") UHMW flat sheet, and I believe irvingj used the same thickness.

Yes, I used 1/8". MFRed-- you might want to reconsider closing off the front of your blower chute... it will clog a lot less with the UHMWPE lining, but it can still clog if snow is wet. If your chute's front is closed off like that, it could be a real bxxxx to get cleared out....

2:30am and here is my deck, it痴 still snowing pretty good, think will hit the 10-12 inch mark by morning.

Pretty cool, it seems to work as good or better then a step ladder.

So long as you have 2 people it works out better. I would move the machine so she could do a series of light clips and then move on to unraveling the next role of lights, getting more clips, putting up inflatable decorations, etc. Beats fumbling with ladders and having limited work range. My daughter is 5'5" and when the platform was fully lifted she would have her rib cage parallel with the gutter.

I thought of that but will try the closed front of the chute first.

Only time I have experienced the chute to fully clog up is in the spring melting season when the discharge looks like a half frozen stream only going about 5' from the chute.

I have 1/8" diameter blind pop rivets securing the UHMW to each flange, and if/when I need to open the front of the chute it's an easy adjustment by cutting the UHMW flush at each flange and installing the front rod grate.
