It sure does look to be more substantial than the ones I have looked at. Very nice.

The erection has started

First, getting the wall piece up to Cottage



Fit into place to determine mods for laundry structure



Put base in place



Move a truss to cottage


Maneuver into place




One up, ready for number 2




Two trusses set.


Tomorrow’s another day.

thanks for the 411 on your property and it sounds and looks like a dream. we are getting rained on so hard it's hard to believe there is any left to rain on you.

All trusses in place, taking a break. Just Canada Dave and I today. Only about 1 1/2 hours to place.

After break will work on truing and stabilizing.

Three rows of purlins and 1 row rat track installed significantly stabilizing structure. The bracing back to cottage will hold it true and then we can finish the purlins, rat track, and corner bracing then hundreds more screws in the slip joints.

No new pics, just nothing that notable.

As for the roof metal, that is coming from guy I bought my house material from. 12 ft lengths and some custom cuts. I could have ordered from local building supply that makes own roofing but at 2x the cost.

Not to rush ahead. How are you going to deal with the water coming off the roof at the cottage side? Maybe you already talked about this, sorry if so.
