Mahindra (2011)5035 HST TLB & (2016)2555 HST Cab & (2017)1526 HST(2018)Cub Cadet Pro Z 154L (1991) Caterpillar E70B
Got tired of the 1526 spitting black krap on startup all over my front blade .. Procured me a stainless 1-1/2" O.D. weld elbow, drilled thru/installed a 10-32 stainless bolt, and now have stainless exhaust tip deflectors on two of my Mahindri... LIFE IS GOOD...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Think you'll get exhaust towards you now?

Think you'll get exhaust towards you now?

It now points sideways just in front of the left front tire. My 5035 points up behind the right front, and I don't seem to get any fumies there, and that tractor really snorts when you travel up hill at speed. 2555 has a cab, but that used to point right at where my previously yellow fuel cans were, and they got blasted. Fixed that with a tip, too. As far as diesel fumes, if it is running, and you are going in a direction that the wind blows it towards you...... there is absolutely no direction you can point it where there will be no fumes 100% of the time. Part of owning/running a diesel.

I致e cut my exhaust off at the bend and pointed it down and inward. Basically the exhaust is blowing under the tractor to wards the right front wheel. I very rarely get any whiff of exhaust smoke now. However that doesn’t work on yours, because you have something on a subframe on the front. I also modified the battery holder bracket to fit a Group 34 AGM battery.

Sounds great. I am a firm believer that if you want to change something in your life, have at it. Keep up the good work ... !!!! :)

I have posted lots of pictures of me doing stuff Sis. But I am too busy working to take pictures most of the time. If I ever run my excavator over the side of a trailer on it's side, I will make sure the pics are emailed to you personally. Besides, if it annoys you, Mom would be proud of me..... Please direct me where, on this forum, you are working your Mahindras in photos. Never saw any dirt on them that I can remember. Also, dig a pit and put some water in it so that CAT can get mud on her rollers and rails.
hugs, Brandi

Ya missed me? That is not what Mom says. No wonder I never see your photos. I don't read that thread. My projects are big enough to make their own threads. I didn't learn how to dig ponds here. I got all my information from TAMU. All Texasn know cow manure smells like money. Besides, your photos look staged. No action shots. Maybe you can start shooting videos, like the youtube folks you like to watch.

There are silicone elbows that are the right diameter on eBay,, they are for turbos,,
and they can take diesel exhaust heat,,

If they hit something, they simply flex, then snap back,, and they come in fancy colors,,
talk about pimping!!

:D

Definitely going to be doing something similar to my 1626. Doesn’t take long to blacken up the FEL arm...
