The 4 UFO pages I manually edited. You have to copy the japanese text and paste it into a translation engine (I used Google, but indeed Microsoft seems to work better). Then comes the intensive part of copying back the translated text into the japanese text box without shifting the text box position and make it clear and readable. This is : change the japanse font to an standard font like arial and using smaller font size, otherwise it won't fit and text box would start changing position, very bad around the pictures with arrows etc...
It was a lot of work for only 4 pages and translations are bad, indeed Bing/Microsoft text looks more clear.
Now I just converted the PDF to a Word Docx file, it looks very clear. I'll now quickly try to use Microsoft translation engine (inside Word) to translate and hopefully keep text box positions. See what that brings....

Nice job finding that. I wish we could still import Yanmars here in the states.

Ernie. I just uploaded the RSB1504 tiller manual to the site for the person with the RSB1501 questions. The manual shows how to install these modern tillers with the UFO and how to use them.

That's so cool. Maybe you can get a Yanmar tiller with UFO for the AF235 now and it will WORK.

Thats a thought! I just sold my last 4 yanmar tillers since I have no need for them where I live now....

Oh no, that very special site to translate images from Japanese to English is no longer up. I've been doing lots of translations for manuals.

Translate text from photos from English and other languages – Yandex.Translate Seems to be working alright. I can understand the gist of the sentences.

Also the 4 screws under a cover. The problem with the tiller is, that somebody has cutted the wires to those sensors located on the tiller, now trying to figure what wire goes to which pin on the tractor connector.

I've been holding off issuing the tiller manuals as the tractors are more important for people at the moment. What I'm attaching is the official Operations Manual for your tiller along with it's siblings. If you have questions, Nobody has yet reviewed this manual.

and then to

Between those two sites, you should have a better understanding how the UFO works.

Sorry, I do not have any schematics for the tractor nor the tiller in question.

Tom, are you accessing via a smarty phone or a real computer? Computers work BEST. And work better when the ad-blocker settings allows you to see the attachments.

Glad you found a way to access the files.

Hope to hear from you on the success and outcome of getting the FX235D and the UFO tiller working together. Let us know how the image translators work for you sorting out the UFO functions. I don't have a UFO tiller, thus, your feedback would be a huge blessing to help others on the tractor forums.

I will be honored to contribute something back when it's possible. Just need to figure out the correct connection of wires on the tiller cable that was cutted. Hopefully there is no problems with the UFO when i get i alive. That would make the life really complicated since you don't know if the problem is in the UFO or tiller electrics.

Found a CLUE to the RSB1504 parts manual ... 0CNP2-M92100 Did a search and it turned up nothing.

This came off of a single page PDF document I had found.

The tiller has 2 sensors and a electric motor that adjusts the angle of tiller. One of the sensors is for indentifying the position of back flap and the other is for the tiller angle. I assume that the flap sensor also gives the tiller depth information back to the UFO. Now just need to figure out which pin on the tractor is signal out and which signal in from the sensors.....easy as what .

Found a RSB1504 unit on a Japan site. The stickers ...

+Left side+
Gear Oil to use EP-90
Change after every 200 hours of use.
Push the grease out the west side (west could be left side)
Amount values as shown on the sticker.


+Right side+
Match the 3PT link arms to the tractor model as shown.
(distance measurements did not translate)
If noise or vibration is being generated, adjust the top link.

The Yanmar UFO has electrical sensors, electrical piston motors, a control cable and an electrical control to do this work.
Prior to the UFO device, Yanmar and Deere machines had it all mechanically done with a term called, Draft Control.

The UFO gives so much more precision and 3-way axis draft control over the prior mechanical version of only 1-way axis control.
