Wider front tires M7040 Kubota

I believe they are slowly getting more popular up there. However, these get expensive really fast but then again, will last longer.
I figure they'd cost me around $2200 for all 4's as I would need rims of course. But I'd gladly spend the money on fronts as i've seen how they don't beat up the lawn as much.

The problem of doing just the fronts or just the backs is that it can mess up the ratio between the front wheels and the rear ones and possibly causing issues on the drive line.

Unless you can come up with a size that's close to what you have.

I can't even find anything that correlates to my front size. Radials this small don't seem to be available here.

When I saw your post asking about the radial equivalent of the 7 - 16 tire, I started doing some research to see if I could come up with something. However the manufacturers over here, don't even bother to list tire options anymore on their brochures since 90% of the tractors are sold with radials.

Thanks for your efforts. I ran into the same headwinds.
I even contacted Northern Supply to see if they sold tires separately as they had offered what they called "R4 Hybrids" as a tire option on their tractors which were really the R1 radials.. They told me they we going to stop carrying the radials all together because of lack of availability.

Ok, finally found something useful that lists both type of tire dimensions. Found a brochure for a TYM T303 that uses the 7-16 tires up front and 11.2-24 on the back which I believe is the same on your tractor. They list 240.70R16 for the front and 320.70R24 for the back.

It actually ends up being the same sizes that would be on my tractor if I had radials, even though I have 8-16 on the front and 12.4-24 on the back.

Thanks ptsg. That at least narrows the size down. Now to try and track em down here in the states.
